Hastings United

They are currently competing in the Isthmian League Premier Division and have been playing their home matches at The Pilot Field since 1985, taking over the identity of the former Hastings United after a name change in 2002. The club was established in 1893 as Rock-a-Nore and became a member of the East Sussex Football League in 1904. They later became one of the founding members of the Sussex County Football League in 1920, initially known as Hastings & St Leonards before transitioning to the Southern Amateur Football League in 1927. After a brief period in the Corinthian League, they became one of the founding members of Division Two of the Sussex County League in 1952. Under the name of Hastings Town in 1976, they replaced Hastings United in the Southern Football League in 1985. The club rebranded as Hastings United in 2002 and subsequently joined the Isthmian League in 2004, where they have competed ever since. Traditionally, the team's colors have been claret and blue, but for the 2017–18 season, their home uniform features white with claret and blue accents. The team's most successful era was in the 1930s when they clinched Division One of the Southern Amateur League four times, along with winning the Sussex Senior Challenge Cup twice. Their accomplishments in the 1990s included lifting the Sussex Senior Cup twice, the Southern League Cup once, and topping the Southern League Southern Division in 1991–92. The club's highest achievement in the FA Cup occurred when they reached the third round in the 2012–13 season.
